Smurfs

One of my favorite custom orders was making a smurfette set of beads for a long time customer.I had to take that order just because the smurfs have been and still are my favorite cartoon of all times.I wish they still show them on TV but I managed to get the kids familiar with them through YOUTUBE !! :)

Fun things I came across today

I came across this adorable Mural Art decor.I love what it adds to a room and the best thing about it is that you can remove it any time you want.I am in the process of re-doing my bedroom and those just inspired me... now all I have to do is persuade my hubby that it's okay to have flowers in the bedroom.

India's first recital

Violin is a big part of our lives right now, went through lots of squeaky noises ,screaming, crying and just plain tough practices untill we finally hit our milestone where it's become part of our daily routine. It wasn't easy and there were times I wished I had them do some other instrument where it didn't require so much of ME,but as I was sitting in India's recital last Sunday and watched her perform "ETUDE" which she probably practiced over 100 times, a feeling of pride and accomplishment overwhelmed me, it took lots of dedication, perseverance and whole lots of love. I saw the fruit of my little baby's hard work (and mine too hehe!)and there it felt all worth it,every single minute of that 60 min practice was well spent.

That hour I spend daily with her will be a memory for me to cherish forever. I am so thankful to have such a precious daughter and is so happy to have found our little activity where we can bound together.

Our Journey with Violin has just began ....

Back ...I guess

Well here I am months later and nope didn't get to the polymer flowers yet, just trying to catch up with everything ,seems that my summer was quiet busy between violin camp for my daughter India which by the way was a blast, family visiting, tons and tons of orders to deliver oH and a week-end trip to Maui hehe it just feels like there is no time for everything ...Yeah right ! but I am enjoying taking a step back now that school started, getting myself organized and ready for the holiday season.

Wow!!

Last Saturday I was window shopping at a japanese store at the mall and passed by a table that had beautiful Exotic flower bouquets so of course I had to stop and admire them,I thought they were real untill a lady approached me and said "they are made out of clay you know!" I froze for a second and had to check for myself and so it was they were not real.she went on to explain that they were made out of air dry japanese clay.So we talked about it for over 20 min and now I am determined to find time to learn how to make them ,it's very different from polymer clay but I am up for the challenge and can;t wait to create and post a picture of my first trial ;).
